Girls' cricket

Souths Junior Cricket Club will again be running a girls' cricket program in the 2018-19 season.

This includes the Cricket Blast Master Blasters (for seven- to ten-year-olds), the Cricket Blast Junior Blasters program for five- to seven-year-olds, Junior Cricket Stage 1 all girls competition and Junior Cricket mixed teams in all other age groups.

Cricket Blast will be held on Friday afternoons starting on Friday, 19 October 2018.

Souths has mixed teams in the MSW Zone Stage 1 or Under 11, Under 12, Under 13 and Under 14 competitions.  These competitions will involve playing against boys' teams.
Girls can be two years above the boys' age group. For example, a 12-year-old girl can play in the Under 10 competition.

Team administration

Each team needs parents to coach and manage the team.

Souths will provide some professional skills coaching throughout the season to assist the team coach.
